Help Lorenzo Buy a Cello for College!
Story
I have coached and taught Lorenzo Anguiano for the last four years. He is an excellent student, musician and runner. Lorenzo has been accepted at Central Washington University and plans on studying sports medicine and music education. Lorenzo will be one of THREE college students in his family next fall! He works incredibly hard at all of his endeavors: academics at Evergreen, as the principal cello in our chamber orchestra, running at EHS and Whisper Running Club, and at work at Wendy's. For the past four years, Lorenzo has used an Evergreen District cello. In order for him to pursue his dream of studying cello in college, he needs to buy his OWN instrument! This is no small expense. We are looking to raise $4000 to help him achieve this goal. Lorenzo comes from a family with a hard-working single mom, and several siblings. But a new cello, when combined with other college expenses (housing, transportation, a laptop) is beyond their grasp. Please consider helping this great young man to buy the instrument he needs in order to continue his studies.
